A great example of this is the Old Town Mall off Orleans Street just north of Fells Point. Take a walk down its empty, litter-strewn promenades at any time during a Sunday, and you’ll hear hymns and shouts of praise coming out of the shuttered doors of once-businesses like Hot Girls Boutique or a Rainbow Variety store.
